Warranty Details

We fully recognize the critical importance of durability and functionality in the domain of outdoor pursuits. Our warranty stands as an unshakable commitment to your complete satisfaction.

You qualify for a 1-year limited warranty, provided that:

1. You are the original purchaser of the product.

2. The product is used solely for its intended function.

3. Product is handled with proper care and perform regular maintenance.

Under this warranty, we guarantee that your product will be free from material and workmanship defects during the warranty term.

 

Warranty Exclusions & Limitations

THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE. MONTIRO’S MAXIMUM LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO INCIDENTAL DAMAGES NOT TO EXCEED THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT. MONTIRO DISCLAIMS AND EXCLUDES ANY LIABILITY FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL OR OTHER DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANY REASON WHATSOEVER. THIS EXCLUSION AND LIMITATION APPLIES TO ALL LEGAL THEORIES UNDER WHICH DAMAGES MAY BE SOUGHT, AND WILL APPLY EVEN IF ANY REMEDY FAILS OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. EXCLUDING THE LIMITED WARRANTY PROVIDED ABOVE, MONTIRO AND ITS AFFILIATES MAKE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED; AND NO WARRANTIES WHICH EXTEND BEYOND ANY MANUFACTURER SUPPLIED DESCRIPTION ACCOMPANYING THE PRODUCT. THE REMEDIES ABOVE ARE YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES AGAINST MONTIRO AND ITS AFFILIATES, REGARDLESS OF LEGAL THEORY. SHOULD A COURT FIND THIS LIMITED WARRANTY BREACHED, MONTIRO’S ONLY OBLIGATION WILL BE, AT ITS OPTION, TO EITHER REPAIR OR REPLACE PRODUCT. SHOULD A COURT FIND THIS LIMITED WARRANTY TO HAVE FAILED OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE, MONTIRO WILL REFUND TO YOU THE PRODUCT’S ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE.

 

What Does Montiro’s Limited Warranty Cover?

Our warranty addresses several key areas. Manufacturing Defects include any imperfections in materials or workmanship when the product is subject to normal use. Zippers, buckles, along with other hardware components, are covered in case of failures that take place during normal usage. Additionally, for fabric and seams, we take responsibility for any defects emerging within the fabric itself or along the seams under normal use conditions.

 

What Does Montiro’s Limited Warranty Not Cover?

Third-Party Fulfillment: Our warranty covers all products sold by Montiro on Amazon or montirogear.com. However, this warranty does not extend to items acquired through third-party fulfillment. Third-Party Fulfillment is a business model in which products are shipped directly from a third-party supplier to the end consumer. As a result, any products purchased via Third-Party Fulfillment arrangements are ineligible for our standard warranty protection.

 

Rental Company Usage: Our warranty does not cover products that have been used for rental purposes for profit. This includes gear used by rental companies to generate income.

International Orders: Currently, warranties are only valid for products purchased and used within the United States.

Donations: Products acquired through donations are not covered by our standard warranty.

 

Montiro’s Limited Warranty does not extend to the following circumstances:

1. Wear and Tear: Consequential to regular use, wear and tear is to be expected. Manifestations such as color fading, abrasions, scuffs, scratches, the deterioration of materials induced by ultraviolet exposure or continuous utilization, and corrosion are typical examples. These natural by-products of standard usage are not eligible for warranty coverage.

2. Misuse or Neglect: Damage incurred due to improper handling, inappropriate storage, or inadequate maintenance lies beyond the purview of this warranty.

3. Unauthorized Modifications: Any alterations made to the product without the express authorization of Montiro are excluded.

4. Accidental Damage: This encompasses, but is not restricted to, instances of cuts, burns, and damage caused by animals. Such unanticipated events, which deviate from normal usage patterns, are not covered under this warranty.

To reiterate, this warranty becomes void for products that have been modified, inadequately maintained, misused, abused, or exhibit signs of normal wear and tear.

 

How To File A Warranty Claim?

Please contact our support team at customersupport@montirogear.com with your proof of purchase(e.g., order confirmation email or number) and detailed description of the issue. We will work promptly to offer you a satisfactory solution.

 

How Montiro Process The File Claim?

We promptly evaluate your claim. If we identify that the original product parts are defectives in terms of materials or workmanship, we will cover the cost of repair or replacement, provided that the defect was not the result of damage while in your care, unreasonable use, or a lack of reasonable and necessary maintenance.

Step 1: Montiro customer support team evaluates the claim.

Step 2: Customers are responsible for shipping items to our authorized repair partner.

Step 3: Repairs typically take 6-8 weeks.

Step 4: Our repair partner ships item back to the customer. Please ensure accurate contact information is provided.

 

If your Montiro product, which is eligible for warranty service, needs servicing, but we no longer produce the item or deem it irreparable, we may substitute it with a product of comparable value and functionality.

 

Note:

It is the responsibility of the customer to ship the item to our authorized repair partner.

The cost of repair and return shipping is covered by Montiro, if the product is under warranty.

Please ensure that the item is clean before sending it for repair.

Please only send the part that needs to be repaired.

 

Repair Without Warranty

At Montiro, we fully recognize that outdoor gear may experience wear and tear with regular use. To maximize the lifespan of our products, we're pleased to offer a professional repair service.
